Scholarship Program
We are proud to offer the opportunity for a scholarship for children of MLH employees, pursuing post-secondary education in the Faculty of Engineering at University of New Brunswick.
Scholarship Details
Each year, MLH will award a scholarship to a chosen student(s) pursuing post-secondary education in the Faculty of Engineering at University of New Brunswick whose parent is a valued MLH employee. All students awarded the scholarship will be entering or returning to full-time studies in the upcoming academic year.
The scholarship value is $4,000 in total ($1,000 per year for up to 4 years). Recipients will be required to re-apply annually. It is our intent that the scholarship will be renewed annually with the exception of a significant change in the “student(s)” represented at the time of scholarship being awarded.
Applicants must meet the following
- Must be a dependent child of a current full-time MLH employee with an employment date starting on or before the application deadline,
- Must be enrolled, or scheduled to enroll in an undergraduate program at UNB, Faculty of Engineering, for the coming academic year, and
- Must be a full-time student
Requirements
Applications must include the following items included in a single application document. Recipients will be required to re-apply annually.
Resume
Inclusive of job experience, extra-curricular activities and volunteerism.
School Transcript
Current high school or university transcript.
Acceptance Letter
University of New Brunswick acceptance letter or upcoming academic course schedule for those already enrolled.
Employee Name
Please provide the name of current MLH Employee/Parent, with their employment start date.
